David Frischmann (1859–1922) was a prominent Hebrew writer, poet, essayist, and translator. Born in Poland, he became an influential figure in modern Hebrew literature and was known for his literary criticism and elegant Hebrew prose. Frischmann spent the later years of his life in Berlin, where he died in 1922. Tel Aviv's Frishman Street was named in his honor.
