Tel Aviv Beaches
Tel Aviv Beaches is a photographic journey along the city's coastline, from Givat Aliya Beach in Jaffa to the Tzuk beaches in the north. Across 13 chapters, one for each beach, 102 original photographs by Ido Biran come together with maps by Liron Levin and texts by Dan Ronen. Together they tell the story of each beach: its people, its light, its history, and the everyday moments that make the sea an inseparable part of Tel Aviv's identity.
 
This is Biran's second book, following Tel Aviv City Portrait 1909. A self-taught photographer and former architect, he has been documenting Tel Aviv for many years. The book is bilingual, in Hebrew and English, with 192 full-color pages. It's a book for anyone who loves the city and the sea, and a quality local gift for friends in Israel and abroad.
